The principle of our air-conditioner soft starter is decompression start. Because the square of the starting voltage and the starting torque is proportional to each other, low starting voltage will easily lead to the compressor not starting, in order to smoothly start the compressor into a stable state of operation. Therefore, we use the starting capacitor to increase the starting moment of the compressor, so that the compressor can start smoothly.

The function of the starting capacitor is to increase the torque of the compressor when it starts, otherwise, the compressor is liable to be blocked and burned out when it starts.
