Use ceramic capacitors to pay attention to the problem

When using ceramic capacitors, pay attention to the following issues:

1 high temperature (temperature exceeds the maximum use temperature);

2 Over current (current exceeds rated ripple current). When ripple current exceeds the rated value, the ceramic capacitor will overheat, the capacity will decrease, and the service life will be shortened.

3 Overvoltage (voltage exceeds rated voltage). When the voltage applied to the capacitor is higher than the rated operating voltage, the leakage current of the capacitor will increase, and its electrical oxygen properties will deteriorate in the short term until it is damaged;

4 Used in circuits that are repeatedly charged and discharged many times, such as rapid charging, whose service life may be reduced due to a decrease in capacity and a sharp rise in temperature;

5 The reverse voltage or AC voltage is applied. When the DC aluminum electrolytic capacitor is connected to the circuit in reverse polarity, the capacitor will cause a short circuit in the electronic circuit. The resulting current will cause damage to the capacitor. If there is a possibility of applying a positive voltage to the negative lead in the circuit, use a nonpolar capacitor.
