Trimmer capacitor

The trimmer capacitor is also called a semi-tunable capacitor with a capacity between 5 and 45 pF. There are many types, and the following are common:

1) Porcelain fine-tuning capacitors: characterized by wear resistance and long life.

2) Tube type trimmer capacitor: Also known as pull wire trimmer capacitor, it can be used once. Often used in radios.

3) Mica trimmer capacitor: small size, often used in radios.

4) Cartridge type trimmer capacitor: complex structure and high precision.

5) Thin film dielectric trimmer capacitor: Same structure as mica trimmer capacitor, except that the medium is different and the volume is smaller. There are dual products.

6) Short-wave special trimmer capacitor: It is specially used for the short-wave frequency band of the radio. The variation range is small, only 2.2pF, but the long life is 10,000 times or more.
