To check your capacitors for fire prevention

The application of electronic components is more and more widespread, for example, our home appliances contain capacitors. When it comes to safety issues, the technicians in daily work must do a good job of checking capacitors and prevent fires from happening. Next, let's take a look with the editor.

In order to prevent the capacitor from fire, you should always check it:

1. Whether the various protection devices are complete and whether the protection features match.

2. Check the ambient temperature. If the temperature in the capacitor room exceeds the specified value, cut off the power supply in time.

3. Test if the capacitor is overheated.

4. Test the operating voltage and periodically check the capacitor operating voltage record.

5. Test if the harmonic voltage is too high.

6. Check whether the capacitor bushing has any discharge phenomenon, whether it has seepage, oil leakage and "bulging" phenomenon.

7. Check for flammable and explosive debris near the capacitor. If so, it should be clear that especially when the compensation is on-site (low-pressure decentralized centralized replenishment), this should be checked.

8. During insulation check, test the insulation resistance of the capacitor.

9. Test the capacitor for overheating.
