Thermistor development process

Over the years, many scientific workers in the world have made tremendous breakthroughs in many places. Not only have the conclusions matured, but their use has also continued to increase. As development and design engineers increasingly understand thermistors, many new features have been continuously developed. Nowadays, they have infiltrated into everyday life, as well as industrial technology, military science, communications, and aerospace.

The history of the development of thermistors was 1950's by Heymann et al. of the Philips company in the Netherlands. When semiconducting attempts were made to add rare earth elements to barium titanate raw materials, the resistivity of the semiconductor materials was found to have a high positive PTC. Having a strong PTC effect, the function of seeking these phenomena has quickly become a subject of intense investigation.
