The use of converters in safety capacitors

Safety capacitors play various roles in the circuit, such as filtering, decoupling, bypassing, coupling, tuning, compensation, frequency stabilization and so on. If there is a problem in production, it will cause abnormal functions; if it is not used, it will have serious consequences. Note the following points when selecting converter safety capacitors:

1. Whether the converter safety capacitor specifications (rated value, capacitance value) meet the requirements of this circuit.

2. What is the length of the safety capacitor feet of the converter? Need to be customized according to circuit board size.

3. What is the operating temperature of the circuit. Different working scenes have different temperatures and different materials.

4. How much capacitor error after selection, whether it meets the requirements.

5. Different materials have different effects.

6. Understand external factors affecting demand.

The discharge of safety capacitors is not the same as that of ordinary capacitors. The charges of ordinary capacitors will be retained for a long time after the external power is disconnected. If they are touched with their hands, they will be charged, and this will not happen with safety capacitors. At the input end of the AC power supply, three safety capacitors are generally required to suppress EMI conducted interference.
