The reason why the ceramic capacitor is short-circuited

The ceramic capacitor is a capacitor formed by using a ceramic material as a medium, coating a metal film on the surface of the ceramic, and then sintering it at a high temperature as an electrode. It is commonly used in high-stability oscillator circuits as loops, bypass capacitors, and pad capacitors. In the process of making ceramic capacitors, we will encounter a short circuit. What causes a short circuit?

 

A short circuit is that the power supply is directly connected to the closed circuit by the wire without being loaded. The short-circuit current refers to the current when it is not connected, which is equivalent to the current when a direct wire is connected to the positive and negative phases of the battery. The cause of the short circuit of the ceramic capacitor appears as follows:

1) Quality is not enough

2) High voltage breakdown

3) Voltage instability

4) The reserved margin is not enough

5) Ambient temperature is out of range

6) Damage to the ceramic capacitor during transportation
