The difference between CL21 capacitor and CBB capacitor

Polyester film capacitors are also known as CL capacitors, and polypropylene film capacitors are also known as CBB capacitors, both of which have self-healing and non-inductive properties. The main differences between the two are as follows:

1. Under high frequency conditions, the stability of the CBB capacitor is higher than that of the CL capacitor.

2. Under the same temperature change conditions, the capacitance of the CBB capacitor varies with the temperature of the CL capacitor.

3. The loss of CBB capacitor is smaller than that of CL capacitor. Under the condition of 1 kHz, the loss tangent of CBB capacitor is less than 0.001, and the loss tangent of CL capacitor is less than 0.01.

4, CBB capacitor and CL capacitor insulation performance is particularly good, better than some other capacitors, but CBB capacitor insulation performance is better than CL capacitor.

5, compared with CBB capacitors CL capacitors have the advantage of small size, the same voltage, the same capacity, the capacity of the CL capacitor can be made smaller than the CBB capacitor, which is still very practical for volume installation requirements.

Because CBB capacitor performance is better, the unit price is more expensive, so there are many unscrupulous merchants who use C capacitors to impersonate CBB capacitors on the market. Therefore, the recommended method is to identify two kinds of capacitors: measure the loss value, if it is less than 0.001, it is CBB capacitor. The opposite is the CL capacitor.
