The cause of abnormal sound of high voltage capacitor

1) Abnormal noise caused by aging or overvoltage breakdown of internal components of high voltage capacitors. This has to be divided into two points. One point is that it takes a long time to use, and the life of the capacitor is up. That is not enough. The other is that the quality of the capacitor is not good, and it doesn't take long for the abnormal sound to sound. In either case, replace the abnormal capacitors and remember to replace them with high-quality capacitors with quality assurance.

2) Abnormal noise caused by high-order oblique wave intrusion. The higher harmonics generate harmonic pollution to the power supply and adjacent electrical equipment through conduction, electromagnetic radiation and inductive coupling. The reason for the higher harmonic generation is the nonlinear characteristic of some equipment and load in the power system, that is, the waveform distortion caused by the relationship between the applied voltage and the generated current is not linear (proportional). Therefore, check whether the voltage and current of each device are linear.

3) The abnormal noise caused by the loose connection of the high-voltage capacitor lead and the conductive rod. Loose connections between the leads and the conductive rods can cause abnormal sounds due to poor contact, so check for loose connections between the leads and the conductive rods and resolve them.
