The composition principle of the CBB capacitor is actually relatively simple, that is, two parallel strip plates, the middle insulating medium constitutes a core, and each of the two plates has one lead, that is, two electrodes.

 

The metal plating of the CBB metallized film is deposited by vacuum evaporation on the film, and the thickness is only a few tens of nanometers. When there are defects and impurities on the medium, local wear may occur, and the arc discharge at the breakdown The energy generated evaporates the metal coating adjacent to the breakdown point, and the breakdown point is separated from the surrounding plates, and the electrical properties of the capacitor return to normal.

 

CBB Capacitor Structure: A non-polar capacitor with a negative temperature coefficient made of a non-polar polypropylene film. Available in non-sealed (usually colored resin lacquer packaging) and sealed (sealed in metal or plastic housing).

 

Uses: Generally used in medium and low frequency electronic circuits or as starting capacitors for motors. Commonly used foil polypropylene capacitors: CBB10, CBB11, CBB60, CBB61, etc.; metallized polypropylene capacitors: CBB20, CBB21, CBB401 and other series.
