Structure and characteristics of several kinds of commonly used capacitors(I)

1,Ceramic capacitors: ceramic as a medium. The silver coating is sprayed on both sides of the ceramic substrate, and then the silver film is sintered as a polar plate. Its characteristics are: small volume, good heat resistance, small loss, high insulation resistance, but small capacity, suitable for high frequency circuit.

2,Thin film capacitor: structure is the same as paper capacitor, the medium is polyester or polystyrene. Polyester film capacitance is with high dielectric constant, small volume, large capacity, good stability, suitable to be used as bypass capacitance.

3,Paper dielectric capacitors: two pieces of metal foil are used as electrodes, clamped in extremely thin capacitive paper, rolled into cylindrical or flat cylindrical cores, and then sealed in metal shells or insulating materials. It is characterized by its smaller volume and larger capacity.
