Q = CU, Q is the charge (capacity) stored in the capacitor, C is the capacity of the capacitor. U is the voltage across the capacitor. We know that the larger the capacity, the higher the pressure value the more expensive the price. Some unscrupulous merchants often falsify the parameters of the ceramic capacitor in order to seek profits. However, current multimeters generally measure the capacitance of ceramic capacitors. It can be seen from the formula that when the power is constant. The larger the capacity of the ceramic capacitor, the lower the voltage (voltage) at both ends. If it is the virtual capacity of the tiles, it will not affect the use. However, it is very dangerous that the withstand voltage value is vacuity. Everybody can think of it. What would be the case if a capacitor with a voltage of 10 volts is loaded on a 12 volt voltage?

A general multimeter that is an amateur repairer does not have the function of measuring the voltage value of the capacitor. Then, we can use a simple method to roughly measure the pressure resistance of the ceramic capacitor. The withstand voltage of the capacitor is the limit voltage of the capacitor. Above this voltage, the capacitor will be burned down. We use this principle to test the pressure resistance of ceramic capacitors. A resistor is connected in series with the capacitor to charge the capacitor. When the voltage reaches its withstand voltage, the current suddenly increases. That capacitor is the capacity of the capacitor.
