Several advantages of polyester film capacitors

Polyester film capacitors are organic film capacitors, also known as polyester capacitors. It is made of metal foil or metal film as electrode, polyterephthalic acid (polyester) film as medium, winding and forming and sealing into plastic shell. Some capacitors enclose the wound core with a colored epoxy resin. A capacitor fabricated using a metal film electrode is referred to as a metallized polyester film capacitor.
