The notice should be taken when connect specific compensation capacitors: for induction motors started directly or through a rheostat, the capacitors that improve the power factor can be directly connected to the output terminals of the motors. Do not install switch or fuses between the two; For induction motor starting with star-triangle starter, you’d better use three single-phase capacitors, each of which is directly connected in parallel on two terminals of each phase winding. The connection of the capacitor is always consistent with the connection of the winding.
