The stability and capacity accuracy of multiplayer ceramic chip capacitors have a corresponding relationship with the dielectric materials used. Fenghua universal multiplayer ceramic chip capacitors include five types of media: C0G, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U, of which the first three are more commonly used.

 

C0G SMD capacitors are Class I high-frequency capacitors. They are COG/NPO high-frequency capacitors of Type I dielectrics. Their capacitance is very stable and hardly varies with temperature, voltage, and time. Especially suitable for high-frequency electronic circuits such as oscillations, timing circuits. Capacitors are among the most stable capacitors for capacitance and dielectric loss. The temperature change from -55°C to +125°C changes the capacity to 0±30PPm/°C, and the capacitance changes with frequency less than ±0.3ΔC.

 

Capacitance drift or hysteresis is less than ±0.05%, which is negligible for film capacitances greater than ±2%. Its typical capacity changes with the service life is less than ± 0.1%. NPO capacitors have different capacitance and dielectric loss characteristics depending on the frequency of the package. Large package sizes have better frequency characteristics than small package sizes. The capacity accuracy is mainly ±5%, and when the capacity is less than 10 PF, three precisions can be selected: B file (±0.1 PF), C file (±0.25 PF), and D file (±0.5 PF).
