Taking the washing machine as an example, the starting power supply for the AC motor is generally a CBB60 capacitor. It is a polypropylene film capacitor, and the motor runs a capacitor. It has a wide capacity and voltage range, a small size, a rated working life, and excellent self-healing properties. Stable capacity, suitable for motors, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, fans, ovens and so on.

 

Take cbb60 12uf 450v as an example, in the case of a multimeter:

1) Remove the capacitors, touch the leads, and discharge the capacitors.

2) Using the x100 file, first connect the multimeter leads to the two leads of the capacitor, swap the two leads of the capacitor, and then connect the multimeter leads to the two leads of the capacitor after the changeover.

3) Pay attention to the contact of the multimeter pen with the lead of the capacitor. The response of the multimeter's pointer: The normal phenomenon is that the moment of contact, the pointer of the multimeter swings over a certain angle, and then it resumes infinity. If this is not the case, the following conditions occur: 1 If the resistance is zero, the capacitor breaks down. 2 If you cannot restore infinity, the capacitor leaks. 3 If the multimeter pointer does not respond, the capacitor is broken internally.

 

In the absence of a multimeter: Remove the CBB capacitor, and then connect the capacitor to the power supply. Wait 30 seconds to 60 seconds. Then short the CBB capacitor. If there is a discharge, the capacitor is good. Without this phenomenon, the CBB capacitor can be said to be broken.
