Monolithic Ceramic Capacitors for Manual Welding

Manual welding is done by manually welding any part, which is different from wave reflow soldering. This is caused by unique temperature changes and residual stresses. At this point, the following two points need to be noted:

1) In order to prevent partial damage caused by heat and thermal shock to the component (causing cracks), the component should be subjected to preheating and other treatments to mitigate thermal shock to the component.

2) Since the circuit board temperature is lower than the temperature at the time of reflow, the residual stress at the time of cooling may be different and the mechanical strength (bending resistance performance) may be easily reduced. In order to improve the welding strength, the temperature of the circuit board should be maintained at a high temperature during welding.
