Knowledge Guide for Starting Thermistors (I)

It is believed that the personnel who touch the electronic components have understood the thermistor, and the starting thermistor is roughly classified into three types: the motor is started, the electronic ballast and the energy saving lamp are preheated and soft started.

The law of the appearance of the structure: When the motor is started, it is necessary to suppress its own solidity, but also to overcome the reaction force of the load, so the motor needs a larger current and torque when starting. When it is running normally, the required torque drops again to save power. A set of auxiliary winding resistors are added to the motor and run only at start-up, after which they are disconnected. The thermistor is connected in series to start the auxiliary winding resistance. After starting, the thermistor enters the high-impedance cut-off winding resistance, and it can even achieve this effect.
