(1) Achieve a high level of control. Based on motor and mechanical model control strategies, there are vector control, magnetic field control, direct torque control and mechanical torsional vibration compensation, etc.; control strategies based on modern theory, sliding mode variable structure technology, model reference adaptive technology, using differential geometry Theoretical nonlinear decoupling, robust observers, optimal control techniques in the sense of an index, and inverse Nyquist array design methods; control strategies based on intelligent control concepts, fuzzy control, neural network, Expert systems and a variety of self-optimizing, self-diagnosis technologies.

    

(2) Development of clean energy converters. The so-called clean power converter refers to the power factor of the converter is 1, the side and the load side have the lowest possible harmonic components, in order to reduce the pollution of the power grid and the torque ripple of the motor. For medium-to-small-capacity converters, PWM control with improved switching frequency is effective. (3) Reduce the size of the device. Compact converters require high integration of power and control components, including intelligent power modules, compact optocouplers, high-frequency switching power supplies, and small-volume transformers and reactors made from new electrical materials. And capacitors. Changes in the cooling means of the power device (such as water cooling, evaporative cooling, and heat pipes) are also effective in reducing the size of the device.

    

(4) High speed digital control. A digital control template based on a 32-bit high-speed microprocessor has enough capabilities to implement various control algorithms. The introduction of the Windows operating system makes it possible to design freely, and the control technology for graphic programming also has great development.

    

(5) Simulation and computer aided design (CAD) technology. The introduction of motor simulators, load simulators, and various CAD software provides strong support for the design and testing of frequency converters.
