How to judge the quality of 10KV high voltage capacitors

The voltage of high-voltage capacitors is 1KV, 2KV, 3KV, etc. Then, if it is a 10KV high-voltage capacitor, how to judge the quality?

The main judgment is whether there is internal breakdown. You can use a shaker to measure (note that after the measurement, use a lead to discharge between the two poles, otherwise you will be shocked). There are two other test methods:

1. Use a multimeter to directly test the resistance at both ends. If you use a pointer multimeter, like most capacitors, you can see that the pointer swings from small to large. See if the resistance returns to infinity.

2. Connect the 220v AC mains in series to see if the bulb can be lit normally. Determine whether the capacitor has capacity. Initial test is normal.

High voltage ceramic capacitors have small size, high voltage resistance, stable performance, no oil, no gas, and no pollution. Therefore, when choosing high-voltage capacitors, we must find regular manufacturers, and pre-sales and after-sales service are guaranteed.
