How to identify the quality of the copier thermostor

The quality of thermistor is often identified by the following methods:

1. Under normal temperature, use a multimeter to measure its resistance. If the resistance is too large or infinite, it is open circuit. If the resistance is too small or zero, it is short circuit.

2. Set the multimeter to the ohmic gear, connect the test leads to the two ends of the thermistor, and heat the resistor with a lighter. At this time, the resistance value should be continuously changed. If there is a sudden change or no change in the resistance value, there is a problem with the quality of the resistor.

When thermistor is in contact with the surface of the heat roller, the temperature of the fixing roller is increased and the warm-up time is increased. If it is not cleaned in time, the working temperature will increase with the thickening of the dirt. When the temperature of the fixing part exceeds 196C, the temperature insurance will be blown. Therefore, regular cleaning of the thermostor is an important part of maintenance.
