Manual welding uses a method of welding by any part, which is different from reflow soldering. This is caused by the unique temperature change and residual stress. At this time, you need to pay attention to the following two points.

1. In order to prevent local damage caused by sudden heat and thermal shock (cracking), the components should be preheated and the like to alleviate the thermal shock to the components.

2. Since the temperature of the board is lower than the temperature at the time of reflow, the residual stress at the time of cooling may vary and the mechanical strength (bending resistance) may be easily lowered. In order to improve the welding strength, the temperature of the board should be kept at a high temperature during soldering.

In the case of a single-sided board, it is possible to perform manual soldering while preheating components and boards using a hot plate. In the case of using a double-sided circuit board, the following is a description of (1) a method of soldering a board and a component of a correction portion using a heater, and (2) a method of soldering using only a heater. .
