Recently, the Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of metals of the Chinese Academy of sciences have produced two dimensional composite phosphor and graphene composite microelectrodes. The electrode can be directly transferred to the flexible substrate as a planar supercapacitor, showing excellent energy density and good mechanical flexibility in ionic liquids.

 

The researchers use highly conductive graphene nanoscale and high capacity black phosphene nanoscale as electrode materials. With the assistance of parallel cross templates, a composite microelectrode with laminated structure and high conductivity of steme / Black phosphene is constructed by a simple step filtering method. The electrode is applied to planar supercapacitors and exhibits high working voltage and energy density in ionic liquids.

 

In addition, the capacitor can maintain good performance under high bending condition. This device is not only easy to process, but also does not need to add conventional metal fluid, interconnected or contact body in the process of device preparation, and can construct modular devices, and then obtain high capacity and output voltage.

 

The planar supercapacitor has the advantages of thin thickness, small volume, high power density, long cycle life and so on. It is considered to be an important micro power source in integrated electronic devices. However, in the past, the fabrication process of planar microcapacitors is very complex. It is usually necessary to adopt more stringent techniques such as optical etching and plasma etching.
