Film capacitors with good voltage and impact resistance are very competitive. Self-healing is an important indicator of the ability of a capacitor to resist overvoltage. After the discharge, a part of the vaporized medium will condense again due to the sudden drop in temperature of the discharge area. At this time, an insulating layer will quietly appear around the discharge electrode, separating the breakdown area. Make the capacitor's two poles work normally without being affected by its insulation.

 

This function of the film capacitors makes the anti-surge voltage capability of the film capacitors more than 1.5 times the rated voltage. At the same time, due to the use of metallized split film technology in the plastic film media of film capacitors, the possibility of short circuit breakdown will no longer occur in theory.
