3. The resistance of the chip resistor is nominal
The resistance of the chip resistor is the same as that of the general resistor. It is marked on the resistor body. There are three kinds of resistance nominal methods, but the nominal method is not exactly the same as the general resistor.
The digital cable nominal method (usually rectangular chip resistors use this nominal method) digital cable nominal method is to use three digits on the resistor body to indicate its resistance. Its first and second digits are significant digits, and the third digit indicates the number of "0"s added after the significant digit. This digit does not appear. For example: “472'' means “4700Ω”; “151” means “150Ω”. If it is a decimal, use “R” for “decimal point” and occupy a valid digit, the remaining two digits are valid digits. For example: “ 2R4" means "2.4Ω"; "R15" means "0.15Ω".
The color ring nominal method (usually a cylindrical fixed resistor uses this nominal method) has the same chip resistance as a general resistance, and most of them use a four-ring (sometimes three-ring) to indicate its resistance. The first ring and the second ring are significant figures, and the third ring is the magnification (color ring code is shown in Table 1). For example: “brown green black” means “15Ω”; “blue gray orange silver” means “68kΩ” error ±10%.
E96 digital code and the parent mixed nominal method digital code and letter mixed nominal method also uses three digits to indicate the resistance value, that is, "two digits plus one letter", two digits of which represent the E96 series resistance code. Its third place is the magnification expressed in alphabetic code.
Since the high-rise building is flat, there is no strong cornerstone to build the building. The chip resistance is small, but its role cannot be ignored. Driven by the global electronics industry boom, the demand for resistors in emerging applications is very promising. At the same time, the high performance and miniaturization of resistors are the eternal pursuit for different applications from industrial to consumer electronics.
