The C0G chip capacitor belongs to the class I high frequency capacitor. It is a high frequency capacitor with COG/NPO as the class I medium. Its capacitance is very stable and hardly changes with temperature, voltage and time. Especially suitable for high frequency electronic circuits such as oscillation, timing circuits and so on. A capacitor is one of the most stable capacitors for capacitance and dielectric loss. The NPO capacitor package has different characteristics of capacitance and dielectric loss with frequency, and the large package size is better than the small package size. Its capacity accuracy is mainly ±5%, and when the capacity is lower than 10PF, it can be selected with B (±0.1PF), C (±0.25PF), and D (±0.5PF).

X7R and X5R chip capacitors are Class II low frequency capacitors, and their capacitance is relatively stable. The difference between the two is mainly at the maximum operating temperature, the former is 125 ° C, the latter is 85 ° C. Suitable for all kinds of filtering and coupling circuits. The X7R media chip capacitor is normally gray. Its temperature coefficient is ±15%, the capacitance is relatively stable, suitable for various bypass, coupling, filter circuits, etc. Its capacity accuracy is mainly K file (±10%). In special cases, J file (±5) is available. %) precision product. The chip capacitor of Y5V medium belongs to class II low frequency capacitor, and its temperature coefficient is: +30~-80%. The capacitance varies greatly with temperature, voltage and time, and is generally only applicable to various filter circuits.

Its capacity accuracy is mainly Z file (+80~-20%), and it can also choose ±20% precision product. The operating temperature ranges from -30 ° C to 85 ° C with a capacity change of +22% to -82% and a dielectric loss of 5%. Due to the high dielectric constant of the Y5V chip capacitor, it is possible to fabricate capacitors up to 100μF in a small physical size, which can be used in place of chip tantalum capacitors in some circuit environments. The chip capacitor of Z5U media is between X7R and Y5V in terms of capacitance stability. Its operating temperature is +30%, -80% in the range of +10°C~+85°C.
