Can the varistor be used after the lightning stroke test?

Zinc oxide varistor cannot tolerate over-voltage or long-term power frequency voltage, short circuit and breakdown failure will occur, and thermal breakdown (large current) will occur. The varistor just replaced also broke down.

The damage of varistor can be divided into two categories:

1. The product quality of the manufacturer is not good, and it will be damaged quickly under normal use conditions;

2. The use voltage is too high, causing thermal or electrical breakdown of the varistor.
