CBB capacitor is different from other capacitors

The CBB capacitors are available in ultra-small form factors from 0603EIA to the large 6039 EIA for power film applications up to 200 Vdc. However, competitive MLCC products are smaller in size and can achieve higher capacitance and are less expensive than PPS, PEN or PET films.

Therefore, combining volumetric efficiency with the intrinsic quality of the film will be the main development direction of the small-size film chip capacitor market in the future, especially the PPS and PET film chip capacitors.

Since DC chip capacitor production continues to grow at a rate of 15% per year, it is reasonable to assume that this growth rate will continue until 2014. Although the predictions of the Delphi Method of Forecasting are like this, advanced prediction techniques such as the Box-Jenkins Method also show that this is the only area in the small-box capacitor market that will continue to grow.
