    Characteristics and uses of electric fan capacitors:

    The main function of the electric fan capacitor is that both the capacitor and the inductor in the electric fan have a phase shift function. The terminal voltage of the capacitor lags behind the current by 90 degrees, and the terminal voltage of the inductor leads the current by 90 degrees. This is the result of the phase shift of the capacitor and inductor.Let's talk about capacitor phase shift first. Once the capacitor is energized, the circuit charges the capacitor. At the beginning, the instantaneous charging current is the MAX value and the voltage tends to 0.As the amount of capacitor charge increases, the current gradually decreases and the voltage gradually increases. When the capacitor is fully charged, the capacitor charging current approaches 0 and the capacitor terminal voltage is the MAX value of the circuit.This completes a charging cycle. If the terminal voltage of the capacitor is taken as the output, a phase-shifted voltage that lags behind the current by 90 degrees can be obtained.Because of its self-inductance, the inductor always hinders the change of variables in the circuit. The phase shift situation is just the opposite of that of the capacitor. When the circuit is connected and a cycle begins, the voltage at the inductor end is very large and the current is very small.At the end of a cycle, the terminal voltage MIN and current are large, and a phase shift effect of 90 degrees of voltage leading is obtained.The lag or lead of 90 degrees here is only for pure capacitance and pure inductance. In practical applications, there is no pure capacitance or pure time sense. Therefore, the phase shift effect of a capacitor or inductor cannot reach 90 degrees lag or lead.
