3. Test operation

When the multipurpose electronic measuring instrument is adjusted to the appropriate resistance file, the red meter pen and the black meter pen are divided close to the two poles of the capacitance adapter of the measured safety gauge, and the marking value will slowly increase from "000" until the overflow mark "1" is displayed. If "000" is always displayed, it indicates an internal short circuit of the gauge capacitor; if the overflow is always displayed, the internal pole of the gauge capacitor is probably open, or the resistor file chosen is not suitable. When detecting the capacitor period, we should pay attention to the positive electrode of the capacitor with positive charge, and the negative electrode of the capacitor connected with the black meter pen.
