The ceramic capacitor is generally formed by a ceramic chip and a metal film plated on the chip, and is soldered out of the lead and then encapsulated by epoxy resin, and then laser printed. The capacity is determined by the area and thickness of the ceramic piece, and the withstand voltage is made of ceramic. Thickness determines, ceramic capacitors commonly used in several materials: Y5P; Y5V; Y5U; X7R; NPO, then what do these materials mean?

1. The temperature compensation performance of Y5P is good, and the capacitance value in the whole temperature range varies by ±10%;

2. Y5U has no compensation for temperature change, and the capacitance value in the whole temperature range varies from +22%/-56%;

3, Y5V means working at -30 ~ +85 degrees, the deviation within the entire temperature range -82% ~ +22%;

4, X5R means working at -55 ~ +85 degrees, safety ceramic capacitors, the deviation within the entire temperature range is plus or minus 15%;

5, X7R means working at -55 ~ +125 degrees, the deviation within the entire temperature range is plus or minus 15%;

6. NPO is a capacitor with stable temperature characteristics. The temperature drift of the capacitor is very small. The whole temperature range is very stable. The temperature is also -55~125 degrees. It is suitable for oscillator and UHF filter decoupling.
