Thermistor measurement method and steps

1. Clip the two lead ends of a standard thermistor on the alligator clip, insert the multimeter into the multimeter at the other end, turn on the multimeter and turn it to the resistance to measure the appropriate gear. At this time, the multimeter shows the resistance of the thermistor at room temperature. value.

2. Place the thermometer horizontally in the oil pan (the thermometer should be fully immersed in the oil) and the scale is upward.

3. Fill the constant temperature oil pan with salad oil. (Note: If using a stainless steel plate, please use 3~5mm plastic plate on the bottom of the plate for thermal insulation).

4. When the multimeter display value of the monitoring oil temperature is relatively stable, it indicates that the oil temperature is relatively stable. At this time, the constant temperature resistance in the oil can be tested, such as the resistance and accuracy of the thermistor used for monitoring on the alligator clip and the heat to be tested. When the resistance of the varistor is the same, the comparison measurement can be performed.

5. Replace the pair of alligator clips on the test ends of the pair of multimeter pens.

6. Place the alligator clip into the oil pan filled with salad oil so that all the alligator clips and the thermistor are immersed in the oil. This multimeter is used to monitor the temperature change of the oil in the oil pan.

It is worth noting that:

1 When the constant temperature does not reach the control accuracy, the same resistance precision thermistor can be used as the oil temperature monitoring resistor for comparative measurement.

2 The temperature change of the oil in the oil pan should be controlled within the range of 25 ± 3 °C.

3 The temperature probe, the thermistor for monitoring, and the resistance to be tested should be placed in the same position in the oil pan to ensure accurate measurement.

4 Two multimeters should be verified accurately before measurement, at least the consistency check of the two tables.

5 The thermistor to be tested should be kept at a constant temperature of not less than 2 minutes in the oil, and all should be immersed in the oil.
