Capacitors are commonly used electronic devices for storing electrical charges and are widely used in many electronic devices. Due to the rapid development of industry technology in the new era, the early circuit structure was gradually replaced by more complicated circuit forms, and ordinary capacitors could not meet the needs of circuit operation. In order to meet the needs of high-load or overloaded circuit operation, the use of supercapacitors has been promoted in China, and this device is superior in performance to conventional capacitors.

    

Supercapacitors actually belong to electrochemical components, causing the charge or electrical energy storage process to reverse each other, and the number of cycles of charging is 100,000 times. With a number of performance advantages, the application range of supercapacitors is gradually expanding, and mastering the principle of the device contributes to normal operation.

   

The principle of supercapacitors:

    

The "electric double layer principle" is the core of the supercapacitor, which is determined by the electric double layer structure of the device. Supercapacitors are capacitors that utilize the principle of an electric double layer. When an applied voltage is applied to the two plates of a conventional capacitor, the principle of the device storing the charge is the same, that is, the positive electrode corresponds to the positive charge and the negative electrode corresponds to the negative charge. In addition to these functions, supercapacitors generate opposite charges between the electrolyte and the electrodes if they are subjected to an electric field. At this time, the positive and negative charges are at different contact surfaces, and the load distribution under such conditions belongs to The "double layer", the principle is shown in Figure 1. Due to the improvement in the combination of capacitor structure, the capacitance of the supercapacitor is extremely large. In addition, if the potential between the two plates of the supercapacitor is less than the standard potential of the electrolyte, the supercapacitor is in a normal working state, and the opposite is not normal. According to the principle of supercapacitor, there is no chemical reaction in the application process, only the change in physical properties, so the stability of the supercapacitor is more reliable.

    

Supercapacitor application:

    

At present, supercapacitors are widely used in many large, medium and small devices due to their strong storage capacity and storage performance, and the industries involved are more extensive. It is specifically used in: backup power supply for small currents such as vacuum switches, instrumentation, digital cameras, and rechargeable batteries for solar products and small charging products. Due to the significant functional advantages of the supercapacitor, the auxiliary components can be appropriately added to optimize the capacitor structure during use, thereby further enhancing the structural performance of the supercapacitor.
