3.Fuse protection shall be provided for each single CBB capacitor requiring that the rated current of the fuse shall not be greater than 1.3 times the rated current of the protected capacitor. In this way, the failure of one capacitor can be avoided, and the group explosion accident will be caused by the failure of removing the capacitor in time.

4.When the switch is selected correctly and the shunt capacitor is disconnected, the operation overvoltage will be produced because of the arc action between the static and dynamic contacts of the switch. In addition to the requirement that the switching capacity be selected to be about 35% larger than that of the shunt capacitor bank, it must also be a circuit breaker with high insulation recovery strength between contacts, low arc reburning, and good arc extinguishing performance.
