Is the ceramic capacitor broken due to excessive current?

Everyone knows that the use of ceramic capacitors is mainly divided into power transmission, power distribution system power equipment and pulse energy processing equipment. It is a common capacitor. Some customers ask if the current is too large, causing the capacitor to break. Editing is simple for everyone to answer.

The common cracking of ceramic capacitors is as follows:

1) Cracks, delamination, and impurities appear in the internal ceramic structure.

2) The current is too high.

3) The internal porcelain is dirty.

4) The product encapsulation layer absorbs moisture and makes the interior damp.

5) Invalid products.

If the current is too large, the ceramic capacitor will be broken, the withstand voltage will be too low, the ceramic capacitor will have a certain error, and the input voltage will fluctuate, which may exceed the withstand voltage. It is recommended to use a larger one, or it may be because the performance of the components is not good. For a capacitor with a large withstand voltage value, the current is too large, not the current connected to the load. When the device is just started, the capacitor is charged (the current is large at this time).
