1. Film capacitor pressure and impact resistance

Film capacitors with good pressure and impact resistance are very competitive, and an important indicator for measuring the overvoltage resistance of capacitors is self-healing. When the operating voltage is higher than the rated value, the short circuit may occur due to the breakdown of the film medium at a certain position. But the arc will cause the metallization layer of the breakdown point to melt and vaporize. During this time, the length of the discharge zone continues to expand and become larger.

After the end of the discharge, a part of the vaporized medium will be agglomerated due to the sudden drop in the temperature of the discharge area. At this time, an insulating layer will appear quietly around the discharge electrode, separating the breakdown area. Let the two poles of the capacitor work properly without being affected by its insulation. At the same time, due to the use of the metallized split film technology in the plastic film medium of the film capacitor, the possibility of short-circuit breakdown does not theoretically occur.

 

2. Structural advantages of film capacitors

(1) The main circuit of the film capacitor only needs two copper strips. Compared with the previous large PCB, the PCB plug-in, the tin soldering furnace, the repair welding process, etc. are omitted, which greatly reduces the material cost and labor cost of the product. Product reliability is improved.

(2) The main internal circuit of the movement adopts the process structure of copper strip bridge, the thickness of the copper strip is guaranteed, the overcurrent capability of the main circuit is strong, and the temperature rise of the copper strip is low. Such a design installation operation is simple, convenient, and efficient, and greatly reduces the error rate.

(3) The main circuit is separated from the drive control part, and the strong power and the weak current are separated. This has the advantage of reducing the interference of the main resonant circuit to the chip driving part. Components can be reused, reducing maintenance costs.

(4) The film capacitors are packaged in modular form, and the movement is completely sealed. It solves the problem that the soot, water vapor, metal dust and the like enter the interior of the movement, which improves the reliability and service life of the product.

(5) The film capacitor is changed from a plurality of discrete parallels to a single module form, which solves the problem of uneven voltage division and overcurrent of discrete capacitors, shortens the line distance of the main circuit, and reduces the line distribution inductance.
