Brief explanation of Internal and external failure factors of Ceramic Capacitance

Internal factors are:

1) cavities in ceramic media: the main factors leading to the formation of voids are organic or inorganic pollution in ceramic powder, improper control of sintering process, etc.

2) the main reason is related to the cooling rate during sintering, and the crack and harm are similar to the cavity.

3) delamination: the sintering of multilayer ceramic capacitors is stacked and co-fired. The sintering temperature can be as high as 1000 ℃. The interlaminar adhesion is not strong, the internal pollutant volatilization during the sintering process, and the improper control of the sintering process may lead to the stratification.

The main external factors are:

1) the temperature impact crack is mainly caused by the temperature shock when the device is welded, especially the wave peak welding, and improper rework is also the important cause of the temperature impact crack.

In case of failure problems, we can find the root problem from these aspects to ensure the safe use of ceramic capacitors. If you have any technical questions to ask us, we will do our best to solve the problem for you.
