Most mobile phone manufacturers do not give away wireless chargers, which leads to a large demand for wireless chargers. At present, the wireless charger is manufactured. The price of NPO MLCC is relatively high, and the cost is very high. CBB film capacitors are relatively cheap. Which one is better? 1. Wireless charging MLCC:

The wireless charger usually uses a 104/NPO material capacitor in a 1206 package. The NPO capacitor has high stability and low loss compared to a low-cost MLCC capacitor. The wireless charger internally uses a very low loss NPO capacitor in series with the transmitter coil to match the transmitter coil, producing an alternating electromagnetic field that can be received. However, due to the increase in the unit price of the chip capacitors in the past two years, even if there is a fall in the current situation, there is still a problem of high cost when using chip capacitors.

 

2.CBB film capacitors:

Polypropylene capacitors, CBB fall into this category. The main isomorphism of the film capacitor is as follows: no polarity, high insulation resistance, excellent frequency characteristics (wide frequency response), and low dielectric loss.
