Nowadays, CBB capacitors are already in our electrical appliances. That is because CBB capacitors are rich in functions, such as phase shifting, coupling, step-down, filtering, etc., which are often used for parallel compensation of reactive power in high and low voltage systems, and shunts of parallel AC high voltage circuit breakers. , motor start, voltage divider, etc. Through reactive local compensation, it can reduce line loss, reduce line voltage drop, improve voltage quality, and improve system power supply.

Power system loads such as electric motors, electric welders, induction furnaces, etc., in addition to consuming active power, also "absorb" reactive power. In addition, transformers of power systems also require reactive power. If all reactive power is supplied by generators, it is not only uneconomical, but also has poor voltage quality, which affects users' use.

CBB capacitor daily inspection inspection project:

1. Check if it is running at rated voltage and rated current. The value of the three-phase ammeter should be balanced.

2. The casing is completely clean, free of cracks or discharge.

3. The terminals of each connecting cable should be tight and not hot.

4. The shell has no deformation and expansion.

5. There is no noise inside the capacitor.

6. There is no external flashover and the case is grounded.

7. The capacitor room should be well ventilated, and the operating environment temperature should not exceed 45 °C.

8. The protective devices of the capacitors are all put into operation.

9. Check capacitors for circuit breakers, transformers, reactors, discharge coils, etc. should be abnormal. Through reactive local compensation, it can reduce line loss; reduce line voltage drop, improve voltage quality; improve system power supply capability.
